Detailed analysis
CAT 2007 had been tougher then the CAT 2006.Quantitative analysis was toughest for average student but few question can be solved using Options. Cut-off was expected to be lower than that for CAT 2006.Logic & DI section is calculation-intensive. Verbal reasoning questions (like FIJ) not there. Verbal is at the same difficulty level as that of CAT 2006. Grammar and Paragraph-forming questions have made a come-back. This year data sufficiaency made a come back as old days.
LR - DI
Total 25 questions in CAT 2007 LR-DI section. 4 questions for LR.21 questions for Data interpretation consisting Calculations based Table 2 Sets ( 4 Qs ) + 1 Set ( 5 Qs);Logical Based Table 2 sets ( 4 Qs each );Data sufficiency 4.5 from tabular DI.For a change there had been no caslets questions this time.
