Foundation for Organizational Research and Education (FORE) is a center of excellence in Management Education, Research, Training and Consultancy. The unique philosophy of FORE since its establishment in 1981, lays emphasis on being reasonable and fair as well as flexible. Constant upgradation of myriad management skills attains utmost importance in order to achieve competence in the fast changing corporate environment. The MDPs organized by FORE have set out to achieve this objective. FORE concerns itself with overall development of managers of the new millennium. Hence, the faculty and students are encouraged to take active participation in all events both academic and otherwise. Strong emphasis is laid on external exposure, students are encouraged to take up on-line research projects in conjunction with their specialization, over and above the curriculum. The curriculum at FORE is constantly upgraded with productive inputs from both faculty as well as students, who in turn are constantly in touch with the corporate sector and the alumni to help future managers meet the challenges of competition and to avail of emerging business trends. Students of FSM are subjected to rigorous academic pressures. They are expected to meet deadlines and constantly make efforts to improve their performance. Eligibility At least a 3-Years Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE as eligible for Post Graduation Degree in management. Candidates appearing for the Final Year degree examination can also apply provided they complete all the formalities of their examination before June and furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria by August in the respective years of their admission. Admission Process Admission to the above programme is through CAT,conducted by Indian Institute Of Managements(IIMs) followed by GD and Interview conducted by FORE School of Management.NRI/Foreign National Candidates are required, either to sit in CAT or have minimum GMAT Score of 600. The institute boasts of an enviable infrastructure, where students work seamlessly in an environment, facilitated by a state of the art computer center, an exhaustive library, with a growing collection of books, periodicals and CD ROMs and an esthetic environment. Computer Lab Computer centre is comprised of 6 labs (including one Hardware Lab) and equipped with branded computers and network equipments. size=2>All the computer systems are interconnected through Ethernet based LAN which is heterogeneous having Win NT, Linux & Unix Server. The network is managed through 11 Nos BayStack/CISCO 10/100 MBPS 24 port full duplex switches. Library The Library is the main resource center of the School and has a fast growing collection over 15000 select titles in management and related areas to cater academic and research needs of the users--- Faculty ,& Students size=2>Classrooms The classrooms are air conditioned and a discussion room equipped with audio visual equipment, an amphitheatre and an auditorium with a seating capacity of 300 is made available for the students. For the students subsidized canteen facility, leased hostel facility and rephrographic, Fax, and STD-ISD facility is also available

FORE School of Management ranked amongst the top 10 B-schools in the country had yet another very successful placement season with all the students placed on the zero day itself. Majority of the students got multiple offers. As a matter of fact many of the companies had to go back without getting any student. Companies visiting the FORE campus included MNCs like IBM Global Solutions, Fidelity, GE Money, Citibank, Bank of America, J P Morgan, Deloitte, and other leaders from Consulting, Research, Banking, Information Technology, BPO, KPO, Retail, Insurance, Hospitality, Real Estate sectors. Some of the other companies who recruited at FORE are Asian Paints, BILT, UB Group, Infosys, TCS, Tata Teleservices, SBI, FCB Ulka, Power Finance Corporation, Kotak Bank, IFFCO-Tokio, SBI Life, Jubiliant Organosys, Hero Honda, Indiabulls, ICICI Bank, Eicher etc. The highest package was Rs. 12 lakhs a jump of approximately 30 percent over last year. FORE is also receiving enquiries from the above companies as also from other equally reputed companies for summer placements of FORE students for doing summer projects. <FIELDSET >Information Research and Consultancy has been a core activity at FORE since it's inception in 1981. They are provided to the corporate sector for upgrading the management practices in organizations in various sectors of the economy with emphasis on problem solving. FORE cooperates with other professional bodies to promote research and consultancy, and also assists client organizations in the implementation of the changes recommended by it. In Fore School of Management's endeavor to constantly upgrade the future managers in meeting challenges, competition and to avail of the ever-changing market and business opportunities, it has recently set up the Center for Psychometric Research, Training and Evaluation.
