Do you think accent hold you back? Would you prefer everyone speaking uniformly?
Favour
- If communication is uniform than, communication between people of different languages will be faster and easier.
- No discrimination on basis of ascent. Everyone will be same and people will teach other respectfully.
- People do consider accent while communicating. If ones accent is polished than he/she have better chances of success.
Against
- Accents are linked with our history. Uniform accent will take us to loss of traditions.
- With different languages, it is difficult to have same accent.
- It is a personal choice; everybody has right to speak his mother tongue.
- Hindi and English are serving as bridge for variety of languages we have and there is no need to force a common language.
Conclusion
- It would surely make communication easier but need to analyze its impact in Broadway.

Point: Yes obviously speaking uniformly will improve communication between people. But the fact that every individual has their mother tongue accent cant be denied. Its not fair to differentiate people on the basis of their accent. No matter what accent I have people should accept it if i speak a common language.

Point: if one person is having his own accent in a conversation, there is no rule that other person also do the same thing. It is not at all matterof using accent in similar way.an accent is a manner of pronunciation peculiar to a particular individual.

Point: It's not the accent that matters.. It's the "feel" of the subject that matters.... Yes it is important, whether one understands the conversation or not, but not the accent that should matter.. If we are getting, what the person is saying (obviously we should have knowledge of the language) then no problem in the accent..

Point: there should be a common language within common peoples to convey their thinking. As it makes the communication much easier without discremnating anybody in respect of their accent. when it comes to tradition there are many other ways to follow it.

Point: I would prefer where my profit lies irrespective of accent. We need to be out-of-box and as a secular country we must respect and accept everyone's accent

Point: After globalisation, mixing of corporate cultures will result in enhanced transfer of knowledge and skills, which can be achieved through a uniform accent. Moreover,it will root out unworthy issues raised by regional politicos for their vested political interest.
