Religion is a private matter and should be no concern of the state.
Favor
- As religion is one's personal choice; so he /she should not accept any returns from government on basis of religion.
- State should see each and every person equally not take decisions on basis of religion.
- Involving religion in governance can impact growth of nation.
- Bifurcation of people on basis of religion could increase dissatisfaction between communities
- If state really feels that a particular community is poor or less empowered. NGOs and social organizations can play role in that case.
Against
- If one religious community is poor and underdeveloped than state should provide them more facilities.
- It’s not matter of the religion but if any community is poor than state should help them.
- Religion is basis of our society so state should make religion part of governance.
Conclusion
- Religion is matter of personal choice. State should not be concerned about religion .State should be only concerned about development and wellbeing of people .If state find any community is underdeveloped, than reservations should be given on basis of financial status not on caste/religion/community.

Point: Religion mixed with politics has always and will always result in disaster. So its better to keep the two separate. Religion is a private matter. State has no right to interfere with a citizen's right of practicing religion.
