Are corrupt but efficient politicians better than honest and in-efficient politicians?
Favor
- Corrupt but efficient politician can bring a difference in Indian government. Currently most of our politicians are corrupt and inefficient.
- The politicians are not able to take care of citizen's benefits because they are inefficiants. If we have the efficient politicians who are bit corrupt but able to serve nation, that would change scenario.
- Inefficiency of politicians came out in recent Mumbai terror attacks. If we have slightly efficient people than such kind of attacks would have never happened.
Against
- A corrupt politician cannot fulfill his duties even he is efficient because he will use his efficiency to fulfill his selfishness
- Whereas an honest politician might not be able to perform but at least; he will not be part of current dirty politics and social corruption.
- How one can be inefficient if he is performing his duties with honesty.
- Corruption is destroying our society we cannot choose a corrupt person as our leader.
Conclusion
- A person who has chosen by millions of people must be efficient and honest.
- Sometimes he may take some benefits out of system but he should be honest towards benefits of society and people who have chosen him
- Inefficiency or efficiency can’t be measured but if a person is corrupt it is legally unavoidable.

Point: We cannot support corruption just because we desire efficiency. We should go to root cause and try to work out something which will help us to get efficient as wellmas honest person. Cann't we introduce a system in which a performance linked incentive can be given to politicans also , to motivate them to keep themselves away from corruption. For ex if he completes a 100 cr project within timeline and budget alloted he may be incentvise some % of commission...

Point: According to my view power corrupts people so i am for the motion as none of the politicians are honest except few...so corrupt and efficient politician is better becoz atleast they would bring development in the nation but a politician who is honest but inefficient can never do such things becoz they are not intellectual and could not done remarkable work for the nation...

Point: i will chose efficient but corrupt to some extent , becoz efficient people know how to do works properly and during his course of work he will definitely realize his actual role . if efficient ppl is chosen as a leader/or politician the company or country wont run under loss .he will earn that amount of money which is required to run and in addition to that he will think about his personal grid......so i will support efficient politician instead supporting honest and inefficient politicians....
