Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
The Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a 2-year programme offered over four 18-week semesters.
SpecializationsPune Center: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and IT and Systems Management.Nasik Center: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Manufacturing & Operations Management, Own-Business Management and Services Management.
Students have to take two specializations in the second year. Within the two specializations, through student specific trimester wise field assignments, each one can plan his/her career in FMCG, Retailing, Banking, IT, Insurance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, ERP, Manufacturing etc. Students can opt to become entrepreneurs as well. Systems, processes, grooming and placements are common to both the campuses.
EligibilityGraduates of any stream with a minimum of 50% marks overall.
Admission ProcedureShort-listing is based on an all India written test known as SNAP test (http://www.snaptest.org/) conducted all over India followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. SCMHRD reserves the right to accept CAT or GMAT scores of 96.5 percentile and above. SCMHRD follows the process of Selective Meriting for its selection of candidates. Selective Meriting implies that SNAP (or CAT/GMAT) scores are just one of the criteria considered for short-listing a candidate. Considerable weightage is given to candidates academic qualification and performance, work experience and extra-curricular activities.
Short-listed candidates will have to appear for a first round of Group Discussions. If further short-listed, they go through a Psychometric Test and Personal Interview. Each of the rounds can have independent testing panels.
